AMF Stitching, which is also known as Pick Stitching, is a small stitch around the edges of the jacket, the lapel and the pockets. It is usually added on MTM or bespoke tailored suits.
- It keeps the jacket’s canvas interlining in place with regard to the outer fabric.
- It keeps the edges flat and clean and prevents them from rolling or curling.
The color of the AMF stitching can be the same as the jacket fabric for a formal look and can be in contrast color for a more casual or statement jacket.
Two options :
Part AMF Stitching – around the edges.
Full AMF Stitching – around the edges and the front seams.
